The Cinque Terre National Park with its 3,868 hectares is among the smallest National Parks in Italy, and at the same time is the most densely populated, with around 4000 inhabitants divided between five villages: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare.

This is without question the best way to visit the Cinque Terre, since the train stations in each of the five little towns are just a few minutes from one another. Tickets can be bought at the National Park’s information offices at the train stations. For timetables visit the Trenitalia website.
